As the final task of my dual studies, the Stuttgart agency “Machwerk” asked me to summarize my time and experience in a thesis. In a two-month process I created a small book with lots of illustrations, written stories and quotations that accompanied me during my time as a budding designer.

With over one hundred pages, it stands out on the one hand because of its striking colours, which are based on the corporate design colours of the agency, and on the other hand because of its numerous illustrations. These are by no means consistent in style, but vary from topic to topic.

The “work of art”, as it was finally called when it was published at the end of 2018, is divided into six chapters that are based on the agency’s leitmotifs. Listening, friendliness, honesty, teamwork, appreciation and gratitude were assigned to each semester.

The result is a time axis and a change that is described within the work. This journey is also visible in the pagination, which does not resemble a usual page numbering, but ranges from 1% to 100% and numbers the 100 content pages.

It was a special honour to create this work and to say goodbye to the great people in and around the agency with such a work.
