Summer Workshop 2017

On the second weekend in July 2017 the second Summer Workshop of the HfK+G took place at the Campus Ulm.
The topic was Aerial Film with drones. As one of the biggest dealers the company “droneparts” from Hessigheim supported us with 2 professional multicopters from the market leader DJI. At the kick off on Thursday afternoon, the copters were presented to the students and their function was explained in detail. The highlight on Thursday was the indoor flights in the entrance area of the university building. A thrill right at the beginning…
Friday, Saturday and Sunday we flew to the gravel factory Schäfer in Schemmerhofen and near Biberach and turned until the batteries were glowing. Strong wind and not exactly optimal weather posed great challenges for the students. The resulting films will be shown in the “Schulterblick” at the end of the summer semester.
