The butterfly effect describes that in a system it can come to a completely different result by a gladly deviation of the initial conditions. Applied to volunteering, this means that a small personal effort can bring about a big change for someone else.
Task:
Conception, design and implementation of a multimedia campaign / event or a communication concept to promote voluntary work in senior citizens’ work.
Background:
Against the background of the demographic change (declining birth rate and simultaneously increasing life expectancy) the city of Gerlingen, represented by the Office for Youth, Family and Senior Citizens in cooperation with the AG Netzwerk Senioren, is taking up the challenge of recruiting new volunteers in the work with senior citizens in the future.
A multimedia campaign and concepts are desired, which sensitize for this social problem, on the problem to make attentive and for new honorary aids in the senior work recruit.
