The task of the seminar work in the third semester was to participate in a design competition. The students chose the Gregor Calendar Award 2021, a renowned international calendar competition that aims to present a representative cross-section of calendar design and to encourage reflection on the calendar in our time.
The students worked individually and in groups to create calendars on socially relevant topics. It was important to develop a unified and consistent visual concept and to translate it into an innovative design. Three of the calendars were nominated for the Award of Excellence. One of them won first place in the Young Talent category.
